Tuesday, March 31, 2009 Synergent Technology Services is pleased to announce that Capital Area Federal Credit Union in Augusta, Maine, with 3,296 members and $18,297,024 in assets has completed a successful conversion to The Episys Core Processing Solution. The credit union was converted to Synergent's Episys core processing solution March 1. Diana Winkley, President/CEO of Capital Area FCU, said that the service offered by Synergent made the transition a success. "We had heard great things about Episys and the system being very user friendly, but I must say the primary reason was service. The entire staff at Synergent has always provided great service, and it was time to get back to our roots, and use a local processor and have local caring support," she said. Winkley said that in the 20 years that she has been with the credit union, the conversion has been the easiest she has experienced, thanks to the efforts of the conversion team, from those working with credit union staff onsite, to the many who work behind the scenes to ensure the success of the transition. "The staff worked very hard from start to finish, I always knew they were doing everything possible to make this a success. I would like to extend my most thoughtful appreciation to my entire staff and our conversion team at Synergent; they are what made this conversion a success." Synergent has converted over 50 credit unions to the Episys platform in the past four years. Synergent was formed by credit unions, and serves only credit unions. |
