Monday, September 21, 2009 Synergent Card Services now offers UChoose Rewards, a Fiserv debit card rewards program with the benefits members are asking for, and the results that credit unions have been waiting for! Rebekah Higgins, Assistant Vice President for Synergent Card Services, explained that this offering provides credit unions with a new tool to help them stand out from competition. "In this challenging economy, members want a card that can do more for them. This program allows credit unions to better serve members without creating a great deal of additional work for CU staff, as the program is web-based, and requires little administration."
This addition to Synergent's Card Services offerings comes at a time when members are searching for new ways to save and earn money. Therefore, despite the recession, more consumers are participating in rewards programs than ever before, and appreciate the value this adds to their credit union membership.
With UChoose, members also enjoy the value of choice, as UChoose gives members the incentive to make purchases with their debit card, earning points faster, with the flexibility to pool points using different deposit accounts. UChoose offers credit unions their choice of three rewards programs, including Merchant-Funded, Issuer-Funded, and a Blended program. Credit unions also have the ability to set their own parameters for the program.
