Friday, September 25, 2009 On July 31st, Synergent completed another successful year of service to credit unions. As an organization owned and operated by and for credit unions, the Synergent Board and Senior Leadership Team have a unique perspective and understanding of the financial pressures that credit unions are operating under today and are regularly looking for ways to provide assistance to the credit unions it serves. In August, the Synergent board voted to have credit unions share in Synergent's success by rebating a collective total of $750,000 to the credit unions that utilize Synergent's products and services. The rebate is based on the volume of business each credit union did with Synergent during the period of August 1, 2008 - July 31, 2009. John Murphy, President of Synergent, explained, "In these challenging economic times, we are pleased to be able to provide our credit union partners with this rebate in recognition an appreciation of their support. We are honored to have nearly 140 credit unions as business partners for Technology, Card, Check Processing, Print & Creative and Shared Branching services. We are grateful for the support and participation of credit unions in Synergent's products and services."
