Monday, March 15, 2010 Synergent Check Processing & Support Services is pleased to introduce Member Capture, a remote service addition to their Electronic Check Collection offerings. This remote capture solution extends the convenience and cost savings of electronic deposit capture and transmission to the home or small office user who may receive a low volume of checks regularly. The user can then deposit a check anytime, day or night.
"This member capture product is one of the easiest for members to use. The built-in security and technical options are state-of-the art," Dawn Paquet, Assistant Vice President for Synergent Check Processing & Support Services, explained. "Credit unions have an opportunity to build new relationships with members."
Currently being piloted by three credit union partners, Atlantic Regional FCU, Maine Savings FCU and Maine State CU, Member Capture is a browser-based application, integrating with most current flatbed scanners. Users log on securely and remotely via the Web at a location convenient to them. A small scanner does the work of capturing the images and data from the deposit documents. Submitted items are sent to Synergent, and then Synergent requests approval from the credit union before forwarding to the Federal Reserve. We make it easy to implement, working with your staff to provide training and assist with legal requirements and marketing to members.
