Friday, April 4, 2008 Synergent is proud to announce the successful merger of GPM FCU with Evergreen CU, Portland, Maine. Evergreen CU was converted to Synergent's Episys core processing solution March 1, from the OSI platform.
The merger was completed April 1. GPM CU was a current Synergent Episys user, as of Fall 2006 after converting from the USERS platform.
Tucker Cole, CEO of Evergreen CU, had this to say about the process in a April 1 email to our Technology staff: "I just wanted to extend my many thanks for an extraordinary job today. I was impressed by the great job your teams did at conversion but was floored by what you accomplished today. The speed with which you dealt with our debit card programming request while still not loosing focus on Internet banking, audio response, shared branching, and online debit cards was impressive to say the least." He added, "Those results had immediate positive impact on my members and staff. For that I am truly thankful! Once again Bravo to you both and your teams for all your efforts!"
