Branch Item Capture
Synergent offers an end-to-end remote capture solution to credit unions allowing them to capture images at their branches, merchant locations and ATMs. Branch Item Capture scans individual items, capturing the MICR line and amount information while imaging both front and back of checks. Synergent staff supplies support to credit unions as "batches" are sent to our Operations Center.
Today, 200 credit union branches have branch item capture with Synergent. Synergent not only processes the electronic files, but makes sure credit unions have the latest in hardware and software. According to Dawn Paquet, Assistant Vice President of Check Processing for Synergent, "we have done our homework. We test scanners, review service contracts and our staff is trained to answer questions."
