Share Draft Processing

The processing of member drafts to create posting files is an important service we provide credit unions. Synergent receives electronic and physical cash letters from the Federal Reserve and other clearinghouses. The items are batched, the MICR line information is captured and the checks are archived for future reference. Once completed, a balanced data file is prepared for the posting of member debit activity. Settlement takes place with your credit union's corporate account. The next day your credit union creates a return file, which is sent to Synergent.

Synergent offers e-Desk by which credit unions are able to retrieve member draft images via the Internet. Synergent selected the Vsoft eDesk suite of products, including Branch Item Capture, Research and Archive, and Returns modules. VSoft Corporation is a global information and technology provider of process improvement tools for financial institutions. As a result of Synergent's early experience with VSoft's image capture product, credit unions are able to participate in and benefit from imaging and exchange capabilities that would have been beyond their means as stand alone financial institutions.
